Default H2 Duramax Conversion

I am needing help with doing a Duramax Conversion on an H2/2004. I have been thinking about this for a while and I am now thinking I want to try this myself. I have a shop to use and I have been working on cars/trucks most of my life, so to me this is fun and I don't have to spend 30k-50k. I know there is someone that has done this on their own or there are many people wanting to do this I am new to this forum and any help would be very appreciated!

There are several threads, debates, and friendly arguments on this topic already. Use the search feature, you will find them. I will start a thread when I get far enough into mine to post. It will be very detailed, but probably wont be out for another 4 months or so.
