Hey, nothing's perfect right? (Ok, don't answer that one.) So, with that in mind, what annoys, bugs, or just irritates you the most about the H3?
Having test driven the car, my biggest complaint is about the turn signal sound. It drives me nuts!! There must be some way to hack into that system and change the sound. I can think of some very creative sounds to use, depending on the systems capabilities . Maybe a pig squeal would be appropriate for some of you....
Anyway, we take delivery tomorrow, and we're headed on a road trip, so I'll be sure to post pics, MPG, and other complaints if they come up.

LOL, yeah, the turn signal sound SUCKS! I kept joking with the salesman that THAT ALONE could be a reason that I would not want to buy it (I was just messing with his head though). I said, how can a HUMMER have such a pansy assed turn signal sound? so ghey!

HA! Everytime I turn on the turn signal, the Snoop Dogg song "Drop it Like It's Hot" run through my head...think about it.
The horn is kind of wimpy too...Didn't we have a thread about things we would change? I'll see if I can find it.

lack of power
power window control placement
the fact that the metallic dash surround doesnt go up and around the 2 center vents.

I kinda like the turn signal sound. It's the exact sound that my friend's SAAB makes so I'm sure it was in the GM parts bin somewhere.
The truck needs 50 more pounds of torque. Also, visibility through the rear glass is poor. Be careful backing up! The stink bug stance of the H3 makes it worse. I somewhat leveled the truck with 3 turns of the torsion bars but it's still bad.

Only complaint I have is the placement of the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal...too close.

I not only allow smoking in mine, I encourage it. The cupholders are fantastic ashtrays, and when they start to fill up, the console will hold at least one thousand cigarette butts, and if that fills, there is always the glove box, but we have to be careful not to spill the beer. We even have contests to see who can burn the biggest holes in the leather seat. So far Bubba has won that contest with his 1" diameter Cuban Cigar, he smuggled in during his last trip to the Havana Red Light district.
However, Betty Lou did some creative burning and was able to customize by burning "HUMMER" into the passenger headrest; and this was when I was off-roading at 75 mph. Amazing her expertise in doing something so creative during such hard condition like being pounded up and down in the seat. Like it so much, I might have her do the driver's headrest too.
Also found out that if you keep windows closed, and enough people are smoking, and then you open the sunroof, everyone behind you is fogged for about three miles. Great feature when being chased by the revenuers.
Gotta go, time to use the wet/dry vac to vacuum out the console and all the cupholders, they runneth over with butts. Also have to wash out the rear seat, Betty Lou was bouncing up and down on Bubba's lap last night, not sure what they were doing, but it sure made a mess.

Well, back from the trip and have to say, having an H2 as well, I love the H3! It's a blast.
Our interstate milage was about 17-18 MPG @70 MPH and back roads @60MPH was about 20-21MPG. Not too bad for the first 1,000 miles.
Complaints:
-Turn signal isn't so bad, the music hides the noise.
-I agree, power window button placement needs work, and access to seat controls can be difficult at times, even for the heated seat control.
-Lack of armrests like in the H2, and exit and entry lighting from H2.
-And worst of all, try getting a ticket from a toll booth without taking off your seatbelt or opening the door. It's impossible!!! That's why they make EZ Pass
Otherwise, I can't complain! The dealer screwed us on color, and gave us Ebony instead of Morocco, so I will complain about that.
Also, the left headlight is about 1/6 filled with water, and the plastic molding on the drivers side where the windshield trim meets the roof rail trim is cracked and will have to be replaced. And the seats shake. Like, grab the headrest and give 'em a good shaking. They move more than I anticipated. Anyone else notice that?

It's all in the matter of how close you drive along side.

"lack of power" Damm I'm sick of this one, it is geard low for climbing, it has more power than the Rubicon wrangler that it copetes with in rock crawling.

My wife loves the turn signal. Complaints...light bar vibration, rear visibility, and the #1 complaint...It is my wifes daily driver, not mine.

- Rear window doesnt roll down
- No ash tray
- Bad window switch location
- Bad seat adjustment location
- Cup holder too close to shifter & to eachother
- Rear headrests dont come off
- Cig. lighter socket always on
- 5th door must open fully and knock you over
But there is more good things about the H3 then
there are bad..

Just wish the rear seats would fold down flush. Other than that it's been 3000 miles of pure bliss!
