Default How to remove antenna trim part ...

Removed my antenna because I discovered that my reception is fine without it. Anybody know how to remove the black trim part arround the antenna? I want to see if I can put it on upside down to cover the hole from above.

Probably only uses XM radio like me, so the regular antenna doesn't apply.

true, I am with Sirius but i got a small rubber radio antenna that stays out of the way and If I need am wx or traffic it's there. The stock antenna is a joke and too tall.

Yep, I use XM or my iPod most of the time. I tried no antenna while I was waiting for my antenna-x short antenna to arrive. Didn't notice much difference so I'd rather have one less thing for people to mess with. Plus it looks cleaner without it to me.
