stop calling me out!
well after the millionth person called me out on not having the matching wheel on the back, I finally put the 5th 24" on.
cut some off.
added a stud.
used four 3/4" nuts for a spacers
I like to use all spline-type lugs so they're easier to start down in the seat

Re: stop calling me out!
Also, did you add the extra stud for pure support? Were 3 not enough? Also, why the 3/4" nut in the back for the spacer, and can the cut be made with a Dremel tool? Thanks....Jamie

the stud is for support, I'm not sure it needs it, but it really wasn't all that hard, so why not? I used a 9/16" bit to open up the little hole for the stud. Then i used a dremel to open it up a little more, then hammered the stud in from the back.
If I hadn't used the spacer, because it has a different backsacing, it would have sat crooked. I guess I used a nut for a spacer because it's better than a stack of washers.
You can eventually cut anything with a dremal, but I used a reciprocating saw to cut off the support. [that mild steel frame cut like butter] As for how much to cut off; put your wheel up there and mark the most you can leave and still put on the center cap. You don't want to try to line up those studs in mid-air, least of all in the rain or mud or hanging off a 1000' cliff or whatever.
My license plate is just zip-tied to the arm for now, still using the factory light, but you'd never know it, cause you'd be blingded.

Re: stop calling me out!
Do they make non-low profile tires for 24 inch rims now? Ive had a set of 24s and 26s (both which I sold) and have a set of 22's on there now because 2 years ago that was the largest rim you could get while not having a low profile tire. In that picture that looks like a pretty tough tire, I was always replacing tires a few times a year. A low profile tire cannot handle a hummer.

You can get a new license plate light at Checker or Auto Zone too. Just splice it into the existing wire and mount the new light under the tire carier. Mount the plate to the rear bumper. And your done.

Kumho mkaes this one, and I think a 38" as well. Also, I believe that toyo has an M/T for a 24" wheel.
It's a 37" M/T on a 24" Wheel. gives it a profile of about 6.5" with a tread depth of about 1/2"
