ok, my vote is in and SIRIUS wins hands down no contest for Rock, Hard Rock and Club Beats...

I have had XM sine i bought the H3 and never thought it was "worth paying for". So I just had Sirius instaleld and spent a day with it and already I can tell you that there is just no comparing them for "rock" related songs and selection.

XM had its strong points as well but they arent "for me" as I am looking for hard rock/rock channels.

Anyways, my 2 cents for those that were wondering.

I love the install in the rear door. Which subs are they and how do they sound? What are you using to drive them? Roughly what did they charge for the install if you don't mind me asking? Did you have them Dynomat the door and is there any rattling? Isn't that were the jack is stored and if so what did you do with it?

Thank in advance, I had been thinking about going that route.

EDIT: I just saw your other thread about the system so ignore this post.

The subs are JL W3 series.

They sounds incredible for 8"s - but collectivly they work or perform like a 16" sub.

Well, the install had other stuff included like the Sirius Reciever, Adapter, Install Kit + Labor, then I bought the amp, speakers, install + laber to design and build the box, Amp install, amp install kit (heavy gage wiring, dynamat etc.) and I paid 1500.00 for all of it. My stomach was in a knot spending this much money but now after having it in and listening to it - it was worth every penny. Very happy with it.

Yes, they did use dynamat in the rear door to make sure I didnt have any "rattling" from the all out assault of bass at high volume. =)

Yes, the jack was located in this area and I have it in a duffle bag now in the rear along with my jumper cables, tow strap and other misc off-road related goodies you need to keep in your truck at all times for the just in case senarios. Although, I do plan to make a bracket and place it in the side storage compartment at a later data.
