Default Pigeon Forge TN

I am heading up to Pigeon Forge tonight - to look at some mountain cabins in the area - I am devestated by the fact that Dollywood is closed for the winter - does anyone know the area and have any suggestions for a good bar/restraunt.

We had a great time in the Gatlinburg area last year! We stayed at the Buckhorn Inn which I don't recommend. It sounded great, old cabins in the woods with lots of history, but when we pulled the tarp and oil out, the bugs on the floor showed themselves and wigged us out.

If you can't have fun there, you just aren't living!

When we showed up we cruised into Gatlinburg all nice and easy, then BAM! Hard Rock Cafe' and a bazillion people. But that's because we went during Thanksgiving.

Hopefully everything will be open and be sure to hit a go-kart track.

We stayed right up the mountain from Dollywood at one of the luxury cabins from Cabin Fever Resorts, great views, good times. We did some hiking on the AT, rafted on the Pigeon Forge River, and hit the arcades on the main drag for some lazer tag. The space themed arcade on the main strip had the best lazer tag arena.

There is some excellent trout fishing in the area too. We hope to get back again someday.
