Alpha badge - Emblem
Does anybody know where I can find a Alpha Hummer emblem ?
My H2 is almost done with the Duramax conversion ( picking it up on the 14th this month) and I would like to have an Alpha badge for it.
Stats on the conversion - 2006 6.6L Duramax LBZ stock 365 HP, 6 speed Allison tranny, 4X4 / 2X4 transfer case, Banks Intercooler, cold air kit, 5 inch custom exhaust, increased rail fuel pressure mod, PPE eXcellerator 5 stage programmer, PPE Duramaximixer stacked, and PPE Boost controller, exhaust temp sensors and electronic boost gages, ATS Co-Pilot Tranny power module and pressure mod - clocking at 683 HP at the rear wheels and 1046 ft.lbs torque - I think it deserves an Alpha Badge.....
Where do I find one ? Can anybody help ?
Thanks.

Re: Alpha badge - Emblem
That sounds awesome! Be sure to post pics when you get it.
I'm sure the dealer can get you an Alpha badge.

That sounds like a badass conversion.
Any thoughts on upgrading your rear axle? I have a feeling you might need some more beef back there with that much power.

Good job that will make your H2 very fun to drive . The PPE on stage 5 may be too much fun for the Ally-6. Have fun and post pics.

How much did this duramax conversion cost you?

Re: Alpha badge - Emblem
The PPE wil stay on level 3, the Duramaximizer adds about another 165 and the boost controller by adding another 20-25 psi when needed adds another 50-65.
That is whyy I went with the ATS Co-pilot but now I am thinking about an ATS torque converter. I do not plan to race it. I know I have the power when needed, the ATS should do the job in "normal" driving if there is such a thing...

Wow! Can the rear axle handle that much torque?

Re: Alpha badge - Emblem
I am sure I will find out real soon......
The guy doing the conversion changed the axles on his with the 3.73 gear ratios, runs it standard and claims over 900 hp with no problems.
The rear on our trucks are no wimps either. The set-up is the same as the HD2500 and those are abused all the time.
