Default Wobbling mirror

Has anyone found a fix for a wobbling the driver's side mirror. Thing is, while driving, its hard to clearly see the traffic behind me due to vibration. Is there anyway to tighten the mirror to relieve this? The passenger side does not do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks...Jamie

My understanding is that this is covered under a "recall" of sort. If you are under warranty and you ask the dealer, they will replace the mirrors. It is a known defect.

Do you happent to have the recall website that might submit this trouble call? I just wanted ammo when the dealer says "no that's not covered" Thanks for the quick response....Jamie

If your still under warranty just go in and complain about them. Any Hummer dealer I quarantee has replaced them many times so they will know what your talking about.

Jamie,

did the mirror do that prior to the new tires and wheels being installed? What year do you have? I know dealers have been replacing the pre 2006 truck mirrors with the 2006 units since they work alot better. I am running stock rims/tires and have no mirror vibration at all.

Mike

Joe Bullard had taken care of me with no problems ever. Problem is the wobbly mirror is a 05 and older problem. My truck is an 05 but have a lookie at my 06 mirrors(installed via warranty by Joe Bullard):

Consider it a blessing on your part. The fu$king wheels were not balanced at all. He said that he didn't know to balance them.
