Just an FYI - as I'm still waiting on my H2, I call the dealer weekly. Late last week I was told that their latest H2s were waiting an additional week at the factory for NEW windshield wiper motors. Seems there have been some reports in the past of premature wiper motor failure. Just thought you folks might want to know.

I just had my wiper motor replaced. Symptoms: Could not shut it off and would not change speeds.

Yes, now that you mentioned it, there was a brief moment of something wrong with my wiper speed, it did not slow down or speed up, I switched it a couple more times and back to normal.

Now that this is in the open I too had a wierd thing happen. When switching from wiper on to delay, my wipers stayed on. I had to switch off and on again to reset them. Is this related???

The other day my rear wiper would not work when I tried to turn it on. I tried to check the fuse but could not get the cover of the fuse box off. Couple of days later while driving I flipped the switch and they worked...have not tried since...very wierd.

FYI - I received in the mail today a recall notice concerning the windshield wiper motor. I can't find any number labeled "recall number" but there is a H02051-S in the upper corner. I suppose everyone will be getting these? It states basically that the wiper motor needs to be replaced due to "improper manufacture".
