Default transmission mount

Anyone know how much clearance should be between transmision and crossmember at the rear transmission mount or have a pict?

It look like I have about 1/4"?? Anyone know if its normal?

Chasing intermittent noise and any help is appreciated?

Thx

If you have over 50000 miles on the truck you might want to change it any way ,you may want to check the engine mounts also .you should check them under load in foward and reverse gear . you would be surprised how much drive train slop dissaperes with fresh mounts .

Well that is a horse of a differant color ,but why don't you just take it out and take a good look at it and compare it to a new one and than you will know for sure.
