I remember that...keep us posted on the way it works in the snow. I know the early ones cracked windshields. So keep us posted.

I just hit my heated windshield switch. Works great in ice/snow.

Man I came across one yesterday but, cannot remember where i saw it or actually the mag i was reading. i will go back and try to find it.
It did not cross MY mind as We do nt get enough snow most years to last more than a few days. it is somehtig that i do not thnk about.

I just stuck it right beneath the rear wiper control, in the empty spot. i'm hoping to pick up the limited edition button and install that someday....

Dave,
For 2006 Hummer released a H2 SUV/SUT with the hot shot installed. It is a limited ed...So I think doc was talking about getting that button from the stock GM parts bin! for that factory look and feel!

I was told Friday that the Button was not available without suppling Vin # from limited edition unit. Whats up with that the button might cost all of $5 if that!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if there is any adjustment to the temperature on the heater so that there is no issue of potentially cracking the windshield in the cold weather?

If the dealership wants $127.00 for just the button how much is the OEM unit complete. The link above is for an aftermarket unit.
