just my thoughts on the airhorn. I too have ordered some of the similar components from Hadley.... well actually component parts who distributes for them. did you go with the smaller or larger airtank... by larger I mean 14" long. I went with the larger one and b/c the smaller one will only give you a very short burst then you have to wait for the tank to recover. I peice-mealed my setup... got the horns from wolo...lanyard from wolo... the rest from component parts. plus I am kind of thinking that the wolo horns while nice and very loud, might be too high pitched for me. I will be submitting pics of what I did very soon...it is going to be done by thursday. una
Corsa Sport exhaust(offroad \'tip\'), Gobi rack w/ lights & w/roof mounted tire w/ ladder, Warn Winch with rear power, Dual Wolo Airhorns w/ lanyard valve, Hadley Aircompressor 130PSI, 14\" airtank, front and rear quick disconnects for air, Cobra 75 WX
I got the smaller tank. I "hot wired" the compressor cause I just had to hear the horn blow. It took only seconds for it to reach 60 PSI. I then tested the horn a number of times and no loss of PSI noted. Mine is a solenoid setup, not a Lanyard. I understand the Lanyard uses more air. This horn is very loud! I'm glad it'll be under the hood.
I still need to find a "ignition activated" fuse to hook the compressor to.
