What tires should I get?
My factory tires are wearing down. What tires have people installed? Comments or pics?

Re: What tires should I get?
Lots of tires out there and you question doesnt give us too many ideas what you'll be doing with your rig... do you wheel it at all? Drive on the beach? Or just around town?

Re: What tires should I get?
I'd say, since you don't specify what you have, get some sort of 33" tires, maybe all terrains if you spend most time on the road rather then off-road. Or, get stock tires from your dealer, either 32" or 33" - it really depends on where you go with your truck. I use 33" mud terrains, they're great off road, bit loud on the road but I don't care.
You will have to tell us what is your primary vehicle use.....

Re: What tires should I get?
I'm in the same boat (hummer).
Have 70,000 miles on original 2006 adventure.
I have done a search and it gets over-whelming reading all the posts on tires.
I am quite satisfied with the stock tires.
I do go off road but maybe 4 times a year with hummer clubs.
But I do alot of hiway miles.
I think the best would be to have another set of rims with mud tires and another with hiway tires. But yes, that would be a pain.
Think I'll just go with another set of the stock Bridgestone Duelers.
I think Walmart even carrys them.

I have 65,000 on the duelers and they have plenty of tread left.
The work well in dirt/sand/mud and drive smooth on the road.
For a long lasting all around tire it the best.

Re: What tires should I get?
I have a set of the Duratrac's as well and I love them. They are quiet on the road and excellent in the snow. Best tire in the snow I have ever had. Never had them in anything else so I can't really speak on that. You can also keep your eyes open for a set of stockers. I have seen low mileage take-offs for $400 recently on Craigslist. If you have a little time just keep your eyes open and you will find a set.

Re: What tires should I get?
If you are looking for a straight OE replacement I have been really happy with the set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KOs I got. Been through a moderate winter here in central Canada with a mixture of snow/ice/slush/rain etc and thye've performed well...

Re: What tires should I get?
My original tires on my 2006 H3 lasted just over 70K miles and probably could've went a couple more months the guy said. but rainy season coming up and some snow trips.
So decided to get another set of the same Bridgestone Duelers.
not bad pretty impressed with them.

Re: What tires should I get?
about to replace my 35 toyo m/t's. Ive gotten 72,000 miles out of those things!!!! (with regular 5 tire rotations) Another set will be going on it soon and nothing else. That tire rocks!!! They are excelent off road tires and super quiet even the wife hasnt complained about the noise and it looks way better than stockers.

Re: What tires should I get?
Just replaced my stock tires on my Adventure. I ended up getting 90,000 miles on those tires! WOW!
I went with the BFG All Terrain and so far am very happy. I went with a 295/75/16 as opposed to the stock 285/75/16. Can't really tell any performance decrease and they look great! No rub either!

WPage...they arent AT quiet, but they are WAY QUIETER THAN OTHER MT'S. Theres just a little humm that lets you know youre going. Ive had some that you couldnt even use a cell phone going the highway they were so loud. Im telling you these are quiet, especially for a MT. The only other one Ive heard that comes close are the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's. And I got almost 80,000 miles out the toyo's!!!! Now thats a damn good tire I dont care who you are or what you drive!
Ed G...the lights on lower bumper are the stock fog lights I just took a 540 PIAA lens cover and trimmed to fit in the stock hole to match my 520 ATP's on the brush guard. It was very cheap and I think it looks pretty slick. I actually got the idea form another member Fourfourto in this post
thanks fourfourto by the way
