06' H2 Rear License Plate Relocation
I have an 06' h2 with the outside spare tire carrier w/ the license plate holder/light built in to the spare cover, I am getting 37" tires and need to relocate the plate holder/light to the bumper as the cover will not fit over a 37" tire.
I've seen a few rigs that have done this relocation however I have been unsuccessful in finding the part or kit needed, any help is appreciated as I have searched the forums and web shops for some time now to no avail.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 06' H2 Rear License Plate Relocation
I did a custom install of my licence plate on my spare (because I have a predator tire carrier). I'll shoot & post some pix so you can see if you are interested. Which wheels are you using?

Tower: I'll be using my stock rims for now, I've got em' blacked out until I buy some decent wheels.
Thanks for the replies, does GM still make the Hummer relocation bracket? If not I might be going TXSUT route.

I put mine under the receiver. Used some aluminum L stock and a lighted billet frame. Cost around $20. Didnt want to drill the bumper or have it hanging off the side like some kits I've seen.

I would tear that thing right off my truck! It must be a pavement queen (no insult intended).
Nice rims, though! I bet it looks killer from the side view. Can you post a pic of the side and front? I'd love to see it!

Looks good, however I would certainly crush or lose my plate if I mounted there as I have already bent the spare tire carrier on a few obsticles off road.
Thanks for the reply and pics though!

Here's mine. If you are interested, I'll give you the low-down. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

A little JB Weld. 3 very small angle brackets. 3 threaded Rivnuts (=Threadserts) and the SMA half-moon replacement billet. A little wiring a little cable & 2 swages. 3 small holes drilled in the wheel cover.

Re: 06' H2 Rear License Plate Relocation
Yea, I made one too, I took a piece of flat stock and had my buddy weld it to my tow hook, then a $5.00 plate light.
