Re: My H3 Pulling a CDN M101 Trailer
I bought this one from a place in CO, and had it shipped back.
These are 1992 built, Canadian 1/4 ton cargo trailers to be towed behind the VolksWagon Iltis. The Canadian's 'Jeep' equivalent.
This place had unissued trailers from that lot. However they probably sat outside for the better part of 10 ears so there was some rust in places.
I had them clean and repaint the trailer before delivery.
The overall condition I'd say is Excellent Plus, and I have not seen too many Military Jeep trailers in that condition unless someone with the tools and knowledge, did an entire restoration.
Here are a couple more shots...

Re: My H3 Pulling a CDN M101 Trailer
From the start I wanted a Military Vehicle. I couldn't afford to buy a project vehicle not mention have place to keep it. I wanted something that was true to its design and protoypical.
I settled on a trailer for these reasons. Plus I thought it would compliment my H3, real nice.
I paid $1350 for it and it is Unissued. The condition is new with some rust from years of weathering, but everything is clean. I probably couldn't buy this trailer new, commercially for $1350.
I doubt it will ever carry anything, since my intention is to keep it a collectable military piece.

Re: My H3 Pulling a CDN M101 Trailer
I saw a unimog in the background of one of the pics. Those things rule up here (unless you break).

Yeah, unimog is right. This dealer sells a lot of European surplus vehicles, along with our US stuff and Canada.

Re: My H3 Pulling a CDN M101 Trailer
Has anyone bought and hauled a 3/4 ton or larger military trailer of similar type? I was thinking of buying one in the future but I wasn't sure if it would work or not. I think there is a stake bed version of the trailer I was considering in the rear portions of the second and third photos posted by LexOrdo.
Coleman's Surplus, near Harrisburg, Pa. sells these trailers.

The trailer I was considering:
