Default Question about a winch

Hey guys, I might be aquiring a winch in the very near future. Any Ideas as to how to mount the thing? I would prefer to fabricate a mount that utilizes the front receiver hole.

They have portable winch cradles you can get. Just mount winch on cradle and then install in reciever.

Dont know if you have ever actually looked at whats holding that front receiver. It would function for some light duty work, but if you bury your bitch up to the frame rails- I wouldn't be yanking on that w/ the line doubled up or a high powerd winch...straight pulls only.

You could easily add some support in there to beef it up.
