We have had those tires on every truck we have owned, we also had the "mud" version and they were great also. Ive been thinking about putting them on my H3 and now im convinced, they look "hot"

So what are better for off road the mud-terrain or all-terrain?
Are the all-terrain meaning all-(off road) terrain conditions or including regular roads?
I heard the mud-terrain can be real loud is this true?

The MT's are really loud. I had them on my last truck.

The AT tire is better for on road use and is a quiet tire. it will handle better in snow and ice due to the sipes (little cuts) in the tread blocks.
the Mt tire is more aggressive and will grip better off road, but honestly is terrible on snow ice while on road. I have used BFG AT's for years and love those tires. they are great off road too. But if you are into mud, the MT's clean out better and will outpreform those AT's in the mud.
in Moab on the slick rock, i think the AT's do better than the MT's. I'm not sure on your type of off roading or what type of trails/ roads you use, but the AT is a great all around tire. The difference in noise is minimal @ a 33" tire. At 37" you notice a big difference in noise.
...my 2 cents.

Go with the all terrain, I have had both and the mud tires are loud (but I love the noise) The mud tire wear out faster if you endup on road more than off road. The all terrain do pretty good in the mud anyways so youll get more miles out of them....Thats just my opinion.

My opion, Bridgestones!!! they are awsome in everything, Snow, Ice, Mud, Highway, a bit noisy, and I was told wear the longest, and puncture resistant. Plus Free rotation at Firestone.
