Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
That guy has a ton of repeat stuff that is cheap like every couple weeks.
I've looked at that bumper winch combo in the past and couldn't find anything on the quality of it.

Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
I have it. I really is a great product. Personally I like it better than the Warn as it really has very little affect on the approach angle UNLIKE the Warn. I did a full write up on it. I will get it and post it over here.

Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
Tomp,
STOP THAT ****.... I checked out what you were buying and decided to buy one too.... (except I just (two seconds ago) bought the warn)
I had a warn on my other H2 and liked it. I don't do enough hard core 4 wheeling to worry about approach angles... I just like having a winch and I like the look of the warn better.
My wife is going to be pissed. Got a deal at 1300 bucks and she said "you only used your other fukin winch a few times..."
Yeah, I know....

Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
Actually Mark, the Warn setup is very nice and i like it better too. I wish I could afford the Warn combo. I am having to sell my current cradle winch just to be able to buy this one.

My first choice would have been drtyfn's setup but unfortunately, it was more than I wanted to spend for the amount of off roading I do.
The pics of Hummin's front bumper look a little smoother than when I saw the same bumper on ebay.
I just really liked the looks of warns and the few times I did use it, it worked perfectly for me... I even used it to drag a pool across a yard...lol.

Rene,
If it helps, I'd be willing to ship it to you. You could buy it from him, send it to me and I could ship it to you.
Of course, all of this on your dime... no profit for me, just cover whatever it costs.
HTH's,
Mark

Re: Boulder H2 Winch Bumper
I have the Warn on my 05 and the Boulder unit on my 06 and they are both well built units. I am sure there are better custom units out there but now that Boulder is blowing out everything for no reserve auctions you can't beat the prices. The bumpers seem to be going for 600-800 including shipping, I paid just under 750 shipped. I saw one go last week for 460 plus shipping. Even the winch accesory kits they are selling are cheap at under 100 bucks shipped. The SE series MM winches are actually not to bad when compared to the cheap PE series they make. I think the kit is well engineered and instalation was straight forward in a couple hours with many breaks for beverages.

You unbolt the front reciever and the mounting plate bolts directly to the frame. Its pretty stout.
DRTYFN I think I have seein yours and its bad ass! Do you have any pix of the fabrication you did?
