I'd like to get seat covers for the H2, considering increasing visits to beach and watersports due to growing up kids.
The leather interior can handle some of the attacks of salt, water, sun and sand, but maybe on the long run it'll loose.
There are a few seat covers out there, but can't make a choice:
http://www.predatormotorsports.com/H2/H2_interior.html (beige, looks nice, also cheapest in price)
http://www.h2gmparts.com/partdetail.asp?PartID=5165 (black, might be hot, but nice logo, whopping $ 1,268!).
http://www.legendshummer.com/h2interior.htm# (black and grey neoprene = rubber, might degrade = stink? $ 569).
Anybody who'd like to share their experience?

You guys know I don't claim to be a truck person in any way, but I do a lot of aftermarket reading. Seems these covers were popular with truck and off-road types:
Wet Okole
Tahoe or suburban covers should fit. Your seats have the same frame and although the foam and leather patterns are slightly different, for purposes of a seat cover it should be close enough .... check out the pics of the 00 Tahoe seats on the site.

I like the basic safari canvas seat covers, low key, fits the Hummer rugged personality, cotton comfort, easy care and wash. I've seen H2 black/grey neoprene covers, not too impressed and those did not fit perfectly, sort of stretched on the edges. Not sure about all black ones, may look nice and doesn't look too comfortable.

I found the Mudder seat covers online for much less that 1200.00 (black ones) They are made out of stormsheild. The dealer would not sell them to me as he has had 3 sets returned. They do not fit like the picture and the center armrest in the back cannot be pulled down like the picture shows. It is one large seat cover for that side.

Both the Mudder and Neoprene do not fit perfectly, I have seen some and not impressed. If you do an online search for auto seat cover, there are many online custom shops with assorted materials, from the very ugly zebra to canvas and more. Some has dozen of seat styles to choose from, at least one I saw has the exact seat as H2 front seats. Many different prices $130 a set to $250.

Would the passengers seat cover fit the 3rd row seat?

Haha, JCJ .... talking to yourself again ??? The "40" side of a 60/40 rear seat from a Tahoe should fit nicely, although they may not be willing to sell "just one side". Suburban seats are the same as they were striving for comonality.

I bought the black "mudder" seat covers right away with my H2. I am notorius for messing up the seats in my car (I drive every day and go to construction sites frequently) and did not want to take chances on the H2. First, from the dealer they were considerably less than $1200.00 more like $400. I have not put the backseat ones on yet so I can't confirm wether the arm rest functionality is lost. I will check it tomorrow.
To be brief here are the plus and minuses:
Plus-
Go on/off very quickly
Headrests have Hummer logo
Look good in car(Not quite as nice as photo in GM brochure. They may have ironed them some to look better installed.)
Definitely will protect leather from anything.
Set comes in small duffle bag so you can store in car neatly if you want to take them off
Minuses:
Front seat ones come loose ocasionaly(maybe they will stay better the longer they are there.)
Material is a little bit like nylon.
Do not look as perfect as brochure sugests.
Overall I'm happy. I have them to protect the seats (my investment/ value of the H2) When I want the interior looking really sharp I will take them off. That's why I got leather seats.

I just put the H2 neoprene seat covers on that I purchased on Ebay for @ 600.00 including shipping. I like how they look and I believe they are better than the "mudder covers" They fit very well and the back armrest is fully funtional. The drivers seat doesn't fit quite as well as the rest of the pieces. These are the best choice without going outside of GM authorized products. Shop Ebay or internet as I believe I got a good deal for 560 / 40 shipping on Ebay. They seem vey comfortable and seem well made.

Now you confused me:
What seat covers fit the H2 best? Tahoe or Suburban models?
Get extra front set or 2nd row set, and use the right sided one on the 3rd row seat.
I don't mind getting extra set, as the other half can be the spare.

Suburban and Tahoe share exactly the same seats (I worked on this program as well) so they both fit. What you need for the third row, is a third row seat cover from the 'burban or Tahoe .... but you will only use the 40% side.
