Agreed, Why this is was not offered from 04- 08 Ill never know. Gm introduced split bench seating in 04 for large suv's why is it 5 years later for the Hummer. Another reason H2 buyers are skeptical about buying. It changes too frequently and without caution.

I have 3 kids that cannot sit next to eachother and get along. I would of paid an extra $1,000 for that option :-)

Re: 2009
I think the captains chairs are an option not standard. I could be wrong.

Re: 2009
Now, the million dollar question-are the seatbacks adjustable?

Re: 2009
Is there enough room in the center for a console? I bought my suv because I wanted subs in the back but I really wanted an sut. So if there si enough room between the two seats for a nice sub enclosure that could be nice for an sut ?

Re: 2009
Still not impressed with the newer seats and interior. Captains in the back is pretty nice though!

Re: 2009
is it possible to replace pre 09 to this formation. With out going to the extreams that TAZ did. Besides he said he would not recomend that swap because of extream difficulty.
Thanks
