Has anyone else had a problem with their drivers seat. Mine feels like it is already broken down and as if I am sitting in a spoon. I have a bulging disc in my back and the seat seems to be affects it greatly. I can't tell my wife that my new $55,000.00 + H2 hurts my back. I will be going back to the dealer and see if if a local shop can rebuild the seat at GM's expense. My company car has Recaro buckets in it. You can drive all day long in those and never get tired.

I have had mine "forget" it's memory settings a few times when I put the key in and it moves the seat all the way forward, jamming me into the steering wheel. Usually happens after I finally get the seat nice and comfortable.
Anybody else seen this issue?

Mine does not "forget" its memory setting but I have to move my seat forward once in a while and reset the position.

"I hope its not me getting shorter" ACK!

It seems like the last couple of times my wife has used it (Driver 2), when I get back in I have to move it fwd slightly and reset.

I have also had the "easy out" button jam me fwd into the steering wheel instead of going back (my wife uses this feature in Driver 2). Just as I was about to take it in to the dealer, it started working OK.

I have been forced to hug the steering wheel a few times myself. I just end up resetting the memory. It has only happened about 3 times in almost 20,000 miles.

Black H2 Adventure Series+ all other options.

I have had the seat move all the way forward as well. It started after I made a slight adjustment to the seat but did not save it to modify the already saved setting.

Once I reset the seat and stopped making any changes to it's settings, it hasn't happend sense.

My H2 will also occasionally "forget" its memory settings and the driver seat will run up all the way forward. Since I'm barely 5' tall, it doesn't jam me up against the steering wheel too bad--but for my 6' tall husband, it's a different story It hasn't happened a lot though and we haven't mentioned it to the service department yet because I'm sure that it would just end up being another one of those problems that they are "unable to reproduce".

And Texas Red, how come you didn't let your wife be DRIVER 1...is chivalry dead?

My back ached after a short while behind the wheel when I first got the H2. I had the same fear - "OMG - I spent all this $$$ and the seats suck!". I used to have a Tahoe with the bench seat and big fold-down armrest - very comfy.

I decided it is due to the change in driving position. The offset steering wheel makes you sit a little differently. I got completely used to it after a couple of weeks (whew!).

Called my dealer and told him about the problem. He asked if I could bring it in on Monday. He is going to pull the seat and send it to the upholstery shop for repacking.

I too had comfort problems. Tried to readjust postion many times but didn't work. Forgive this suggestion if it sounds insulting but have you tried to adjust the lumbar support? I have had automatic adjustable lumbar support on many vehicles but to me very slight adjustments in the H2's lumbar support seems to have a major effect on my seating comfort. Seems to be different from my other vehicles. My discomfort was relieved when I reset the lumbar to support to its lowest position.

I don't have memory seat problems, but it never seems to keep the radio station and temp settings the way I put them into memory.

My seats are working fine and very comfortable and seems to be in good working order. But I don't know why in the past 2 weeks, I am simply not satisfied with whatever positions I saved. Every time I get in, I have to make minor adjustments and save it; repeat the same thing next time I get in. I don't know if it did not save or if it is just my butt. It is comfortable, but just not 100%, something is missing. My wife thinks I am jusy fussy these 2 weeks, maybe she's right.

One thing unusual, the front seats don't recline all the way down. I thought all car front seats can do that, which was very important when I was young and single and parked with opposite sex. Is there a safety reason for this? or GM is cutting cost?

No Mac, GM is worried about getting warranty work for dirty seats. That's why they own a two Porn Studios and a couple of Porn channels on Direct TV.
