Now with the neborn (4 months old), we/ve been talking about getting a motorhome.

Could you guys post some interior pics? Provide some advice such as do's/don'ts/must haves, etc...

I assume the bump outs are a must but am curious to see what else is since I have 0 experience with these things...

TIA!

I just got something on my pants.

We've been talking about getting a Class A pusher when we're older, but like Goalkeeper, we don't have any experience with them.

What would you all recommend starting with? Maybe a C, or a small A?

I am rapidly approaching my time for one. I want to pull the H2 behind it, either on a flatbed or towhitch. What size and hp do you guys reccommend as the minimum needed for safe pulling all over the country? Probably full time.

Ken, you need one with either a Cummins ISX or ISM diesel in it.

Haha!!! Wrong Ken. However, what you said is true.

We headed to Fuddrucker's tonight, but saw the parking lot jammed so CP suggested another place. No problem, just let me turn around in the parking lot; I saw a giant pickup parked in the lot. It turned out to be the big Chevy. Bummer...

Back to the Coach questions:
Going out and buying a 40+/-' RV, never havin' driven one, is a scary proposition. Besides, in our case, we don't want to start cruising the country right away. What did you all start with? I'm not interested in a 5th wheel what-so-ever.

We're thinking more along the lines of something to practice with and get used to the maintenance and size. Ahhhh, maintenance. Any info?

We're also not interested in buying this first coach new. Low mileage one are abundant.

Just pass all you can along.

Sure, a tag axle is the way to go, but what was your first coach? Don't tell me you ran out and bought that big thing as your first.

I'm thinking an under 35' pusher with a few slides and no tag. Used with low miles. Something along the lines of Gary's or yours (yes, yours appears to be a 38+'). Get used to running around in it and move up from there.
