Default Tires

Want to keep the stock wheels and just replace tires for now.... times are hard.

BF were the originals... is there a better one? dont want to buy tires and find out they are as noisy as hell.

BF were pretty good... I have done 60k and they just need changed now.

Anyone have any preference on tires ??

thanks in advance

Default Re: Tires

There is a new tire on the newer h2s thats better onroad and gets better gas milage but isnt as beefy with the tread for offroading. If you don't offroad often that might be a good choice. I think the new tire is the Goodyear Wrangler AT Extreme.

Also I've been thinking about this new tire for some of my h2 limos that ovbiously never offroad but gas milage is a big concern. Is it as strong, sidewall the same? Will it handle weight just as good? Based on comparing these two "OEM" tires on tirerack.com the newer tire scores lower in every category based on "customer reviews".

typically you can find takeoffs on craigslist for a set of 5 under $800 and that is for wheels and tires.
