Re: seats position
That's a very good question. I'd like to know also.
Is your seat not working?

Re: seats position
Nope, but just in case....
Plus i would like to see if there is any way to make the seat go back further, just seems like there is alot of unused track or a way to relocate the seat a little further back on the mounts

There's definitely a mod to make the seats go back further...I did it years ago. I'll see if I can find it...there's a nut (or collar) on a long threaded rod under the seat that you have to either remove or wind back...
EDIT: Here you go: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=30268

Re: seats position
Guru,
That sounds like the seat back, not the seat position on the floor of the cab.
Thats what I am trying to do make it so there is more room between the seat and the dash..... or in other words, less room between the rear of the seat and the back seat.
It just feels like there isnt enough forward/backward movement in the seat base
Like I have never seen a person that could fit in the seat with it moved fully forward, yet the position of the seat on the base completely back seems to leave some people with not enough room.
Any ideas?

Right...gotcha. Looks like I just read it too quickly. You might want to poke around some other GM truck forums to see if they've come up with solutions. According to http://parts.nalleygmc.com/products/.../88941225.html the Seat Adjuster/Recliner from the 03-07 H2s were also used in the 99-07 Tahoe, C3500, Sierra, Silverado, and Yukon.
