iam not liking the gap between the tailgate and the spare it is starting to "sag" or it looks like it is sagging is there any part or something i can do to bring the spare closer to the truck, i imagine it would also help when i back up cuz i cant see worth a shiet so im thinking it will provide a litle more clearance

You might want to check your tire carrier mounting bolts and make sure they're snug. I have a 37" Toyo on mine and it doesn't sag a bit. Had my SUT since February and the tire carrier is showing no sign of wear.

You're missing your corner cap.

You must have hit something really good. My wife backed her Expedition into my spare tire last week.

Hummer damage = 0
Expy damage = $532

Yup, that'll do it!

I think Ken was referring to your right rear plastic corner cap on your bumper. In the second pic above it looks like it's missing?

Either that or the center plastic is not tucked under the corner.

I never liked the big gap between the tire & tailgate. So I just took it off.

yeah that gap pisses me off, it looks a little better with the 13.50 on there, but i was wondering if there was a way to "customize" it somehow so i can get the spare closer to the body, perhaps it is possible with some cutting of the bracket or something, id like to get the full size spare on there with the plate mounted to the tire carrier swing arm smehow just to the lower right of where the spare sits now, so i can show off the chrome motometal without the plate covering it. any suggestions?

Dan, if I take my rear carrier off, will you carry the spare for me at Paragon?
