John--check your PM's.

I have heim joints on my entire streering system.

They will wear out or start to clatter at some point. Heim joints are used on race cars and they need to be maintained.

The kit is expensive for two heim joints and some metal. It will work though.

Many of us are running the Fabtech kit. You can get the full kit and beef up the tie rods to the point of not having to worry about snapping them.

Actually, I was in Gresham 4WD once and asked that very question. Is there a small lift for the H2. He told me about these leveling kits, but of course, he suggested a full blown lift to beef up all the front end components. Cognito lifts start at 7" and go to 12". He runs a 10" lift on his Chevy p.u., and I must say it looks awesome. They use a different system than Fabtech.

Anyone care for me to go take pics?
