tires tires tires
I know alot has been posted on this topic and I have read and searched it for some time now. The day is quickly approaching for me to buy some new tires as my stockers are wearing out. Ive got a base with the wranglers now but I have since added the leveling kit and I have been looking at getting some 35's. I absolutely love the Toyo MT's looks. I know toyo recomends 8-10" wheels but I want to use stock. Ive read post and seen picks of a few of you with stock wheels and the 315/75/16 (which is what Im looking at). I thought now that some of you had had these for a while you should be able to give some more feedback on this setup. So here it goes:
1: any issues with the stock wheels? ive read the bulge from being on too small of rim can cuase issues on highway and could make wear uneven
2: hows tread life? ive read anywhere from 25K to 50K, thats a large gap what are you getting?
3: would you/have you bought a second set? or would you recomend them
narrowed it down to two tires i think. the other one is the baja mtz? can anyone answer the same questions on it aswell?
yes this is my daily driver, but from 6:30am-7pm im driving around a golf course constuction site which, well here it looks like this:

Re: tires tires tires
1. Only time I've noticed them crowning was when I overinflated them. Keep them around 40 PSI cold and you should be fine.
2. I've got 31K miles on mine and plenty of tread left. I should be able to get close to 45K out of them.
3. I'd definitely get them again. One of the best tires I've had.

I also wont buy a bigger tire then 33 inch.
My factory 33 inch have 41,000 miles on them and they look GR8.
I hope i'll get 60k to 75k before replacing with a little more agressive 33.
If I get 75k out of them I might just get another set factory 33's ?

315/75-06 MTZs here. No crowning here, just over 7K. 2: hows tread life? ive read anywhere from 25K to 50K, thats a large gap what are you getting?
I rotate @ 5k religiously with mud terrains and keep the MTZs at 39psi. Got 49k out of MTRs by keeping them rotated EVERY 5K.

For right now I would recommend them, a little humming. But it's an M/T and that's what you get. Great in snow, wet pavement & mud. Ice, not so good. Grip like crazy on the few rocks I have been on. I'll keep you posted.
