We have begun discussions with our local Hummer dealer to sell them our H2 and buy a H3. It's my wife's daily driver so I do agree with her that the H3 will suite that purpose better (for her).
Our H2 currently has 35/12.50-18 Toyo Open country Mud Terrains. The model H3 we are considering has the off road package so it sits an inch higher. I know the wheels can't transfer but does anyone know if the tires will fit without issue?
Please let me know as I am having their used car manager give me a value for my rig.

They'll fit with Rancho's new lift for sure.

I'd love a lift! But...do you think true 35's will fit without a lift?

The only reason it sits 1" higher is because it's fitted with 33's instead of 32's. There's a thread in the Gallery area of a stock H3 with 35's on it. They did it fine. I also think they tweaked the torsion bars a little, but it wasn't necessary.

What is the true diameter of those tires?

The "true" measurement of these tires are 34.5 inches.

Very few tires actually measure 35", you should always go to the manufacturer's website and look into the overall diameter of the tire. Most 35" tires run between 34.5 & 34.8

The size rim and offset will also depend if they fit or not. I have 315/75/16 on stock wheels and they fit fine.I see some guys are running with the tire sticking out quite a bit and I guarntee you it will chip the crap out of your paint! I have the Mickey Thompson MTX's. I did crank the torsion bars 1.5" but did not need to do so to make them fit.

I gave my torsion bars 5 cranks, it looks like it's ~ 2 inches higher. From a glance, 35s would fit easy.

They will fit.. might want to turn up the front torsions a turn or two but the width is still the same as the 33"s. I have seen two in the Phoenix area aready running 35's and they both said no rubbing and still using the stock wheels.
