Default Lookin' to Buy

Hi all, new to the forums, joined up because I am looking to buy an H2 within the next few weeks.

Preferably want a lifted unit with off roading in mind (No lowered, low profile, soccer mom H2's please)

Really don't want yellow, unless it's a steal of a deal.

Have my eye on 3 units on EBay right now :

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tab%3DWatching

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tab%3DWatching

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=150179808440

Have the cash, thought I'd post here and see if I can help someone find a good home for there well cared for H2

Thanks for lookin' ... Hopin' I find one

Dave

The SUT is nice, but 22's are a little bigger than I would like for wheeling (not much room to air down). The black one has lower mileage than the other 2, but those ostrich inserts are a little too pimpin' for me. Also, it looks like the SUT is the only one with adjustable rear air suspension (Adventure package which includes a compressor to refill your tires). The black interiors show dirt less than the wheat. So, I guess I'd go with the SUT and swap the Rockstars down to 20" or less (and maybe black). JMHO

All those rigs are over priced!

you should be able to pick up a 2004 H2 with 20,000 miles on it for 35,000 dollars

Why do you want lifted? Just buy stock and if you have to lift it then have it done, dont buy somebody elses mess, your wasting your money!

If they were meant to be lifted GM would of spent another 10 million on Research and Development on that.

There is enough cost on preventive maintenance as a stocker let alone a lifted rig.

2 cents

Hey Block ... I had noticed yours for sale, it looks great but I would have to spend probably $5000.00 repainting the unit as soon as I got it as I have a yellow phobia

Could u please send me some interior shots and list off some of the mods you have done.

Thanks very much.

I would go with this one.

Seariously though. I would try and get the newest with the lowest miles for the best price. You can always add the lift and tires, especially with ebay. You can pick the wheels and tires up pretty cheap. I would check the threads about the lift to see what you should get. So you might be better off spending less on a stock one, then putting the right upgrades on yourself.

I'd have to agree....if you are only buying a lifted H2 for the looks or you think it will handle better off-roading them your wasting your money.

Yeah, I think that you need to consider your use. The lift is a give and take. The h2 is already popular with us users because of the clearance. So try it stock first, then consider the cost versus benefit. That much air under their will do nothing for everyday use. Just my retarded opinion. Plus you can add 37's to it without doing anything. Check the threads on how much a good tire will upgrade your rig, both in looks and performance. I know that when my tires get down, that is the upgrade for me.

What I was trying to say...its if you are going to spend the extra money on a Lift beacuse you think it will help in off-roading..then that would seem like a waste of money....

I still say you've got the best deal. I can't believe you haven't sold it yet.

And, of course, yellow is the best color.
