Does anybody know how I control the volume of the chime. I can almost not hear anymore and I don't know what happened. I did install a 6cd radio but for many weeks everything was fine. There must be a way to control the volume

Any suggestions??

The dealer's techs can adjust the chime volume (also controls onstar volume), I believe using the programming tool. This controls the level of the stereo volume into the amp. When I had my radio replaced they had it too loud and the chimes blasted me out.

You can adjust the chime volume between two levels, hold down the 6 button until the display changes.

The standard setting is NORMAL and if thats to loud you're in trouble since the only other level is LOUD.
