Default MOOG- SO DISAPPOINTED

I'm just finishing up the last, I mean last-- very last, task before this front end job is done.

Greasing the front upper ball joint on the new MOOG UCA / ball joint.

Going great! Until GREASE STARTS POURING OUT OF THE UPPER BOOT..

There is a hairline crack in the boot, back side.

Do they not quality check these? There is no way no how it was my work that caused this leak.

Extra pissed because my original BJs weren't bad, the boots were. Upper left passenger side, lower right driver side. All this time and money for boots. Good Lord....

That SUCKS! They going to take care of you on the part? You would think that with their stuff being so much more "heavy duty" that this would be the last thing you would have to worry about.

Guess not. I was excited to see this setup too as I was looking to do the same...

Yep, I'm over it now though. Just sucked at the time it was litterally the last task. I mean tools put away, cold beer open. Lol...

Yes, Rock Auto sent out a new one. Charged me for it and shipping but will reimburse both and they gave me a shipping label to ship back. Part showed up today.

Tie rods show up tomorrow. Ill do it all then.

I did email moog. Some of their instructions say to greas until grease comes out. Not the ball joint instructions though. Curious if you're supposed to grease their joints till it come out the top or not.

A pin sized hole....damnit.
