Of that in the picture, what do you want to remove? Is it stuck on with two-sided tape?

Assuming it's a twosided taped piece on the body (AND put on around the mirror as opposed to removing the mirror) you can use either fishing line to get behind it and "see sawing" it...
Or use what we call in the bodyshop a "bone" It's a nylon piece of plastic with a chamfered edge much like a thick putty knife and slide it under the edge and lift up. Since it's nylon, it won't gouge the paint.
HTH's,

Good point. The pieces look narrow so it shouldn't be a problem but heat can't hurt.
Good point HT,

1. Remove mirror.
2. Use heat gun to remove offensive bling.
3.Use paint friendly solvent to remove adhesive residue.
4. Apply wax to spot where adhesive was removed.
5. Remove wax.
6. Re-install mirror.

I like that little piece of bling. Why would you ever want to remove it?
Drtyfn: Bling is not offensive, unlike your damned avatar!

I kinda like his avatar .. it reminds me of the habanero peppers I grew in my garden last year ... they had that same effect

What I find works good for the adhesive residue that is left behind is a product called "goof - off" You can get it at most hardware stores - look in the paint section. If you read the label one of the uses listed is removing bumper stickers. Infact I would presoak the bling using a spray bottle before trying to remove it.
