Default 03 Stock Radio/ Switch to 06 Stock with NAV will it work?

I am bidding on a stock 06 NAV/CD player from a 06 H2. I want to install it in my 03 H2 to replace the worn stock head unit. It says it is XM ready, is there anything additional I need to get? And will the harness work from a 03 for a 06?

Default Re: 03 Stock Radio/ Switch to 06 Stock with NAV will it work?

I just did the exact upgrade you did. The important thing is to make sure the part number of the 06 NAV will work with your Bose Amp in your 03. You need to figure out if you have the LUX amp or the premium -both are Bose but require different Navs. If your stock radio EQ gives you "Driver, Normal, Spacious" options you have the LUX and want these model #'s

Newest Revision LUX TNR-------15800001
Second Revision LUX TNR-------15230099
First Revision LUX TNR-------10377531

I put a 15230099 in yesterday and it works great. Mine was brand new but if you pick up a used one you may need to take it to the dealer to have the theft lock removed. Now I want to add a factory XM unit but need to find out if I need a special wiring harness for it.
