Must be rentals/loaners. I can only imagine what I would do with a H2 in middle of the desert....

In other words, avoid large rocks and wash the undercarriage REAL well.

That's so sad.
Somone should just shoot them and put them out of their misery. A mercy killing.

I would be pissed if I rented one of those and saw that.

You obviously can do anything you want when you rent, but speaking from experience, about half of the popoulation does not even have enough sense to drive on the highway, so forget off-road. Then, they return and expect that "insurance" will cover the high priced damage caused by a terminal case of dumb ass. I find it astounding that people believe a business can rent for a couple of hundred bucks and absorb thousands in damage. Thus a sticker for the "dumbass." You can go anywhere you want, just be ready to get out the credit card and pay for damage, down time, and reduced value. Kind of like owning one, except owners, unlike the general public, do not believe their H2 is bullet proof, collision proof, and indestructible. Beauty is only skin deep, but stupid goes clear to the bone.

I rented an H2 in Vegas. I didn't have that lame ass sticker on mine, but I had to put down a hefty deposit, and they repeatedly warned me not to take it off road, and if I did, I lost my deposit, etc, etc, etc...
Not to mention they made me fill it up with Super Unleaded on return and had to provide the receipt as well. Bastards!
This was the first H2 I ever drove. At the time my wife said no way she'd ever let me buy one. And it was also early in the game when every H2 on dealers lots were already purchased and just waiting for pick up. So not only could I not even drive one, they wouldn't even let me sit one. Bastards!

I rented an H1 in Vegas - caned it to death in the desert - hosed it down and returned it - they were none the wiser - I did leave my handheld GPS in it though - I called them from the airport and told them I had left it in the truck - "no sir there was no GPS in the truck".
I got home - downloaded the digital camera with all the Vegas shots and lo and behold there was a pic of my wife standing next to the H1 AFTER we had dropped it off - there was the GPS sitting in plain view on the dashboard.
I called the manager - called him a lying POS - after having emailed the pic to him.
He sent me the GPS in the post a few days later - after calling me up and telling me he was going to charge me for shipping - well after talking to me for about thirty seconds he agreed that they would pay for it.
So a word of warning "Dream Car Rentals" in Vegas - dont touch them with a ****ty stick.
