Default NEED HELP !!!

i've removed my INTERIOR spare tire and mounting bracket.

whats left is the bolt coming up from the ground that holds the little tool bracket.

How do i get this screw out of there? it looks like its coming up from the bottom of the truck or something!

Have you try to unscrew it by puting three nuts on the bolt and then unscrew it buy using the middle nut. Or you can use two nuts on the bolt and ues the top nut to try to unsrew the bolt.

I read were other people were just cutting the bolt off.

i'd have to get the three nuts and try it i guess... it doesn't come with any nuts as the tool bracket piece is what screws onto it.

it does seem a little thick to just cut it off.

I used a cut-off wheel and removed mine. Even though I took a thin piece of metal and drilled a hole in it to lay over the bolt (as to not burn the carpet) it didn't work.

It really doesn't matter because the carpet will have to be replaced since it still has holes and cut-outs left from the factory.

I just toss my recovery kit on top of it. Never bothers me.
