Default extend front suspension travel...cut it?

I installed new torsion keys the other day, and noticed that the front suspension travel is limited by a metal bump stop (downward travel). Did anyone just cut that piece off to give it more flex (obviously the shocks will then limit the travel, but it should give it a bit more downward extension)? Seems like the stock suspension travel is extremely short, both up and down...

Default Re: extend front suspension travel...cut it?

Actually the stock suspension stroke on the H2 is 6.6 inches wich is best in class for an IFS rig.

Your shocks will be your first limiting factor. Usually the factor shocks will not allow the truck to hit the upper bumpstops.

if you really want to lift the front of your H2 more than 2 inches the right way get the cognito uppercontroll arm kit. With the factory upper controll arms and aftermarket shocks you can get away with 2" lift safley.
