Default Ignition Lock problems any advice?

Whats up everyone. Im new to the forum , just trying to seek out some advice on how to replace the ignition lock cylinder to my H2 myself. The key goes in and out but does not turn the switch. I normally have to jiggle the key for a long period of time in order to sometimes get the switch to unlock. I dont want to break anything off before knowing where the screws might be to take off the casing on the steering wheel leading to the ignition. Im preety handy with repairs but never done this thing before, is it something i should not try on my own? Or can i just buy the cylinder with new keys and do it myself? Any advice?

Default Re: Ignition Lock problems any advice?

i would try a new key first, worn or bent keys will cause this issue.
