Hand brake help
Hi can anybody tell me how to adjust the hand brake ,,,my rear pads etc look ok ,,it just seems it needs taken up the slack or something as its not holding good.

h2 mountain bike? My h2 sut didn't come with hand brakes. Maybe only in the two wheel version.

You need to remove the rear brake caliper and remove the rotors. Its A drum in hat brake setup which simply means there is A small drum brake setup inside the rear brake rotor which has an adjuster. Often these fill up with mud and wear the shoes out prematurely. You are unable to visually inspect without removing the rotors. The rotors do just slide off but can be A real B**ch to get off.

Cheers it seems a job for a nice weekend ,,,thanks for the sure mountain help and advice ,,Great ,,,it seems just you and i have these brakes on our H2 ,,,,,,,But for sure Mountain Bikes have them ..
