cow boy is off the scale
Default 4 ton H2

I weigh my H2 at 2 different scale and the average was 4.6 tons, at 2,000 lb. a ton that = 9,200 lbs. thats more than a ton and 1/2 over a stock H2 ( 6,400 lb)
winch (wire cable)
Duramax/ Allison
ladder/roof rack
fuel tank- full
5gl. jery can full
spare tire
4- 3 piece rims
and me in the truck

The point is thats too heavy, everything adds up. The Allison 5 speed trans. is worth the extra weigh. In tow haul going down hill it will down shift to slow U down. The truck has enough power to pull out 2 small trucks stuck in the mud. I would not take my H2 into a mud hole it would sink so deep I would have to call a backhoe to get out the 9.5k winch with a block will not over come the suction of the mud. In the sand with the tire psi down it feels like it is going to dig in. Its a great recovery vehicle and can tow a heavy trailer with ease. The weigh difference between a diesel and a gas eng. is a lot!!

How long do your wheel bearings last?

I'd replace those stock tierods. With all that power and weight you'll snap one at somepoint.

Nice looking rig.

Same here. I'm at almost 5 ton with all the plastic to steel conversions.

Steel bumpers
Steel skid plate
Steel wheels
Steel guards

You should have seen the look on the drivers face when I lifted a tow trucks front tires off the ground while be unloaded once. We figure I'm a minimum 10.5K (the tow truck was rated the haul 9K).

I assume you mean off road. There would be no reason to adjust down on the pavement. In fact, I go up on the pavement. I would say 45-50 on and 18-20 off road. The tires are 37s though.
