Where are the cooling system bleeder plugs?

Doing a cooling system service and the manual says to loosen the cooling system bleeder plugs.

Does anyone know where they're at??

I have never heard of cooling system bleeder plugs in all the years of working on vehicles. There is usually a drain petcock at the bottom of the radiator but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

If you need to bleed the coolant system that's just done using the radiator cap.

No those are the engine block drain plugs. In your manual under the fill procedure it should mention the bleeder plugs no?

First pic and part of second one is about the drain and fill of the coolant system, no mention of drain plugs except for the engine block ones.

Edit: Number 6 is the only mention of a "drain cock".

I think my 3 and 6 in the Draining and Filling Cooling System pic are the same as your 6 and 8 in the Filling Procedure pic of yours, just a different name for the same item ???

But re-reading it I am not sure why it would want the drain (bleeder screws) opened before putting in the coolant ???

Side note, my manual is a 2003 H2 Helm one.

FYI for anyone else that comes along I drained, filled, drain, filled twice. Just left the cap off as mentioned above.

Ya sure those instructions are not for a H1 ? These instructions show "air bleeder screws".

I was thinking the same as you.... It's possible the person posted for the h1 not paying attention to the type of truck the poster had.

That Link you posted is for an h1 it seems. I did come across it in my searches but skipped when I saw the diesel and 6.5 liter mentioned.

I just remove the lower radiator hose, drain, and refill with 50% DexCool and distilled water. I have a fleet of vehicles and do this every 5 years or 100k miles. I've never had to flush or have had any water pump, radiator, or freeze plug issues. It's when all of the anti corrosion properties of the antifreeze get used up is when you start to have problems.

That's what I ended up doing but I did fill with water and run through the system a couple times.
