Hey gang. Now I have a noise coming from the windshield. It's a flapping sound that's causing me to go nuts. Sometimes it's on the driver's side and other times it's on the passenger side.

I couldn't find any info on this and would really appreciate you all figuring it out for me or pointing me to the correct thread to fix this problem.

I won't be able to check back until tonight, late because I have some billiards to tend to.

Thanks for helping me solve this little issue.

Ken

If the flapping sound is coming from the passenger side, tell her to close her legs and/or roll up the window!

I might have to let her know about it so she can employ the services of the Themis/Matty brigade to track and paint I-man.

I would just let the damn dog ride inside the car instead of flapping around outside.

This must be the 2nd loudest "wind" noise in your H2.

Stop wearing crotchless panties and the flapping noises will stop.

Happened to the wife first time wife jumped in and rolled the wondows down when we got over 70+ MPH.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

SERVICE VME
A large number of H2 "A" pillar reveal moldings have been returned through the Warranty Parts Return Center with the customer complaint of a "rattle". The molding should not be replaced for this condition. Remove the molding and place double sided tape under the entire inboard edge where the molding contacts the windshield. Clean the windshield where the tape will make contact and reinstall the molding. This is, in fact, a more reliable repair than replacing the molding.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
