http://www.cnn.com/2005/AUTOS/funonw...ini/index.html

good article, I'm not much of a MINI fan ( too small for my fat ass ) but I thought this was VERY interesting...
quote from article...
"Back in those days, the company also made something called the Moke, a vehicle that resembles the current Jeep Wrangler. The Moke wasn't designed for serious rock crawling, though. It was designed more for casual beach-combing."

I've always thought Hummer should get into competition w/ the Wrangler...imagine a tiny Hummer w/ a soft-top, high clearance...almost like a mix between an H3, a dune buggy, an ATV....maybe even fighter jet seating ( one behind the other )...something completely inovative and fun and maybe even hybrid. I totally think you could maintain the HUMMER brand/strengths and bring something totally new into the market that would be extremely inovative.

I know there will be lots of arguements about diluting the brand...but seriously...come on...how much fun would such a vehicle be? I'd buy one.

on a side note, I just got me a mini-HTul ( ATV Yamaha Grizzly )...pick it up tomorrow!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO
