Default H3 lifts

is the rancho lift kit the only lift available? Is anyone using SAW, Fox, or King shocks and coilovers?

No, Rancho is not the only lift. There's also Tuff Country that makes a 4" lift and a handful of companies that make leveling kits. Most people run the Bilstein leveling shocks from Trail Duty along with the extended bumpstops. You dont need a leveling kit to level the H3, just crank the stock torsion bars. Searching the forums will get you all the info you need. Welcome

What exactly are you trying to do? Flex, clear bigger tires, just get it up . . .?

not to thread jack but i'm looking into lifting my H3T. I know you don't have to lift to put 35's on but i want to lift it also just in case i want to go to 37s. Never did a lift before. Would a lift for an H3 do the same for an H3T. Does anyone have a ball park figure on price for everything i would need. Can you get the entire package somewhere....where you pay a price and they give you everything you need to do the lift...all you gotta do is have it installed.

I want to put larger tires like 35 or 37's. I would use this for mild to hard trails from mudding to some rock climbing. I like that the fj cruiser has a larger aftermarket but I need 4 full doors.

I read an article in Four Wheeler, where they put Fox Raching shocks on and H3 Alpha. They gave them good reviews, but they're expensive. Rough country makes a 4" lift for about $1500.

probably just go with a leveling kit an 35's. I have the dealership looking into the H3T being able to use the one they actually have for the H3. I guess the dealership offers a lift/leveling kit because they have a package that has 35's and 20inch rims. Not doing the rims, but gonna get the Toyos', 35inchers. They are just making sure it will work on an H3T. I will let you know as soon as i find out.

I'd imagine the leveling kit for the 3T is the same. All you have to do is crank the torsion bar a little, and replace the bumpstops and front shocks accordingly.

Hey TERRY, I just installed a 2 inch lift kit and a 1 inch body lift on my H3T... looks amazing!!!!! Most of the lifts for an H3 will fit but you need to call the manufacturer like i did to make sure. I went with Tuff Country, and it was amazing, got the lift for $230 shipped and put it on myself! Pictures coming soon!
