Okay, so both of my license plate lights are out. Pullled the bulbs and they both look blown...all black at the tips. I replaced them both and still nothing. Checked the fuse charts and there's no license plate light specific fuse and all other lights/accessories are working perfectly. Then I checked the wiring schematics and it appears they're wired through the left and right parking and marker lamp circuits, which are both working correctly.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

There has been no liftgate body damage and no work done to the rear of the truck where wiring to these lamps might have been damaged or disconnected.

I have the IPCW LED tail lights but I don't see how that would make any difference. Other than these two damned lights everything else on the truck works perfectly.

Suggestions?

-John

Plug in the old lights and see if they work. If they do, then you kow it's the new lights.

Good luck, I hate electrical problems.

It'll come out...there are two screws on the sides and one in the middle. Once those are out, pull on the assembly to pop it out. Mine had some sticky foam material holding it in place that just pulled away when I removed it.
