Met everyone out at this guy's ranch. I was still clean.

So far, so good, no problems... except this guy... breaks a half shaft.

Doesn't look like much but this hill was pretty steep...especially with all the mud.

Top of the hill, the dirt begins.

Even the H3's were there.

Meeting of all generations.

Got a chance to get dirty..

Took 2-3 hours to pressure wash. I'll be dropping mud turds for weeks.

Overall, it was a good time. Mud everywhere. There was probably 15-18 of us there. I felt very privileged. 3 or 4 of the more experienced guys (all were driving H1's) singled me out and asked me to join them for the "hard" trail home. The rest of the guys took the easy way out. They went, I followed.

Loved it.

I was going to take them off but with 8" of extra height (6" liftkit and 4" of tires), they said I wouldn't need it where we were going.

Of course, it would have made cleanup much easier...lol.

Fair enough. I've just seen plenty of them bent by newbies at Hummer Happenings...

You're probably "above" all that, right.

Nice pics, looks like it was a good time.

I realized this weekend that I need to invest in a pressure washer.

Take an oscillating sprinkler and put it under your truck near the front and let is run for awhile, then move it to the middle, then rear. It does wonders.

What a great idea! I have a pressure washer and believe me they don't do the job unless you spend a lot of time finding all the nooks and crannies.

That's a great idea. I laid on my side and pressure washed the underneath as best as I could but you know how that is. It's suppose to pour for the next couple of days, hopefully it'll soak the bottom of the truck.

I'll hook up a sprinkler.

It does indeed look like fun. But those cleanup stories are enough to keep me from doing any mudding. Glad you got it dirty.

BTW, do the guys in the H1's always keep their redcross magnets on even when they're not actually volunteering???

I was just thinking the same thing.

Mud has never done it for me. 5 minutes of fun, 3 hours of washing. No thanks.

The event was sponsored with the Red Cross. The magnetic signs were for photo opps. I've never seen any on the road.

Looks like it was a great time....looks like cleaning sucked!!! At the one dealership funtion i went to after we went wheeling(if you call it that) they cleaned your truck for you while they had a catered seafood lunch. It was quite classy.

They had the pressure washing truck at the Atlanta outing I went to and they washed our trucks while a cuban man rolled us fresh cigars! It was top notch!
