Default Storm lock anti theft system

We just came back from a trip and heard we had a bad storm a couple of days ago. I just tried to unlock our H2 with a fob and nothing. Dead. Went and got the other fob and it too was dead, I thought. So I unlocked the door manually and tried to start the Hummer. Nothing, and now the key won't come out. We assume the anti theft system was hit during the storm. Does anyone know what we can do? The nearest dealership is two hours away and we do not want to have to tow it there.

I know that if you add a remote to the vehicle it has to be working.
With the electric system also down it would not respond to the remotes.

I would check the battery,
the fuses
circuit breakers
relays

Do you have a Cheverolet,GMC dealer closer to you than 2 hours?
It sounds like going to be a trouble to find the cause.
Good luck to you and when you get it working again let us know
what it was.

Oh gosh, this is the best day. I have been telling my husband all day that it is the battery. He kept saying that he knew it was the anti theft system. I said what would it hurt just to jump it? He finally did and the minute that he put the cables on the battery the horn started blowing! It was too funny! I always tell my daughter when we can do something without the aid of a man, Girl Power! It was a girl power moment. Thanks to you two for helping me reinforce what I knew all along! Have a good day.
