Default Steering ?

When I go straight my steering wheel is slightly tilted to the right, what is needed to fix this ? is it wheel alignment and balance ? will this fall under warranty ?

Go see your chiroprator!

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Actally there is no car/truck company which covers wheel alignment under warranty. If the vehicle is brand new or recently aligned, you can certainly ask the last aligner to cover it. You should get your wheels aligned whenever you get new tires or think that it is off. Yours certainly sounds like it's off. The good news, FWIW, mine hans't really gone out, even after off-roading. So I suspect yours will hold once properly aligned.

Balnce has to do with rotational distribution of mass and unless you are getting shimmy, shouldnt affect your steering, Still it's always good to rotate (swap positions of) the tires and balance every few thousand miles (6 to 10 or so).

Have you checked your air pressure?? If one tire on an axle is lower in pressure than the other you could get a slight pull to one side or the other, check you tire pressure and make sure its even. This is certainly a cheap fix if it is the problem.

This is a common problem with GM products I had in the past. I will check under the hood tomorrow and if it is the same as what I used to deal with I will tell you what to do. It was very easy to fix on my other trucks but unsure if the H2 is layed out the same.

I've had to align my vehicle about 1x every 4-6 months. Due for pitman/idler replacement and wheel bearings....
