Default New Tires for 2009 H3 base model

Anyone notice different tires on the new 09 H3s? Was in the dealer today. I dont know what they were, but the 32" tires are more road friendly and less agressive than last years. Tread height is less. Might wear a bit quicker too, but probably quieter on the road.

(It's a TRUCK for pete's sake!) Oh well. And Base 09 looks to start around $32K+, if I am not mistaken.

This is the new tire -- the wheel shown is also the new standard on the 2009 Alpha.

they dont look less agressive to me compared to the previous stock goodyear 32" and as for the new stock wheel for hte alpha i dont like it, its the same as the chrome ones that come on the regular H3 if you take the option, not that i like chrome but when comparing two i prefer the "08 Alphas chrome rim much better.

I checked the tire on BFG website, this should be it:
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overv...-t-a/1163.html

I don't know how these would compare to the previous stock 32" GoodYear tires, I never had them installed; I had the spare only and it seemed not too strong to me (when compared to adv model stock 33" Bridgestones, or to my own 33" M/T's in that matter). These BFG's are "rugged trail", well wonder how they look in real - are the '09 H3 out then? Should swing to dealership, to check them out..

Yea - 09s are out. I think the tire is SLIGHTLY better/aggressive than the goodyear, plus in the off-road sector, BFG has a much stronger name than Goodyear.

These aren't bad tires, they used to come in Tacoma's and on my ZR2 Blazer
