Got a call today on the roof rack in the post below " New Tree Guard " Its made By ReelWheels and will be availble in early May. the price is a woppin $1195.00 for the rack. Didnt catch the price for the light bar. Not sure, Might be included,,,, should be for that price. Heres a pic,,, There is mesh between the 2 cross bars in the middle. Kinda hard to see.

Hello... Can you say Highway Robbery?

For that much money you should get the light bar AND the lights! WOW!

That price is just absurd. That rack is only 1/3 of the size and function of a Gobi and yet they want almost as much for it. Even with the light bar included that's too much.

I'd buy one if the knocked $800 or so off the price.

Man I about filled my shorts when she said $1195.00. I couldnt believe she could keep a straight face. Oh well Ill keep looking. Man thats what Im looking for to haul my spare tire but for that money. Im gunna strap it on my back for now and keep looking. Yes Gobi would be my first choice but limited budget on my Red 3 right now. Daughter is getting married in 2 months so cha-ching on that. Gotta go,, Stock car races tonight.

Is it just me or does that over the hood guard make the H3 look like a D90 in that pic?

If a CHEAP- as in inexpensive- roof rack is what you are looking for, check here:

Surco Safari Rack

No, it isnt a Gobi. It isnt nearly as sweet looking as a Gobi.

But it's functional, and it works, plus its 100% anti-bling
