Question power supply for light switch in cab

I have installed a set of PIAA 520ATP driving lights today and all looks good so far:

now where do I get power for the switch inside the cab? Ive got the wires through firewall but dont know where to splice for power? Any suggestions. And yes this is my first attempt at these or pretty much anything like this but Im learning as I go. Also I noticed on another post that the wiring done by others is different than diagram provided by PIAA. Is it ok to hook relay directly to battery per the instructions from PIAA or should I hook up to fuse box????

brush gaurd lights. Want: 4" or 6" lift, rock rails to replace the steps, roof rack w/lights, want a rack above the spare on rear door, custom seat covers...should be done then but I doubt it

Default Re: power supply for light switch in cab

On my rig I ran a 10 gauge wire from the battery with a presolderd ring to a acc block with 4 taps. This block was mounted with a cover in a accessible location not far from the battery and a factory ground point behind the battery.

From this point have run 4 different devices all using various gauge wire and arrangements. These circuits have direct battery and can be fused or relayed however are not ignition switched so if not turned off battery can fail...

You could run a leg of direct or relay to your cab and switch. Depends on your preference. There is also a Acc tap in your cab under the dash you could go to if you do not want to drill through the firewall.

Try the search pull down for more info on this its been kicked around many times
